Our Branch has many members who take initiative on their own

and perform, write, conduct and compose in the world of recorder music.

Richard Lindsay

Studied recorder with David Lardi at Trinity College of Music, London and later at Exeter University

I am Musical Director of the Lincolnshire Branch of the Society of Recorder Players.

I teach recorder and singing .

Director of Beaumont Fee Recorder group.

Co-director of Lincoln Renaissance Band.

Director of Lincoln Baroque Chamber Ensemble.

Member of Cantiones Renovatae ( Early Music).

Member of Ayre of the Dogge (folk).

Lay vicar of Lincoln Cathedral Choir( countertenor).

Linda Hepburn-Booth


L.R.A.M.  A.R.C.M.  L.T.C.L.  L.L.C.M.  Cert. Ed.

Linda studied piano and singing at Bretton Hall College of Music and Drama.

 She worked under the tutelage of James Wild
 who developed the Sing for Pleasure movement.

 During her career she worked as head of music
 in various senior  schools  throughout the country

 In the late 1990’s she worked with the choristers at Lincoln Cathedral
 developing the girls' section of the choir.

   Linda is now a private teacher of piano, singing and theory.

 She is also an accompanist and currently plays for the Lindum Ladies Choir,
 the Skellingthorpe choir and the Lincoln Singers.
